James Squire Brewhouse & Restaurant - Melbourne

Since opening in December 2005, the James Squire Brewhouse at Waterfront City has developed it’s own unique style offering the largest bar and restaurant situated in the Docklands Precinct.

With an eclectic mix of great bar food, contemporary Australian dishes and some old favourites, our Squire's Fare Menu is bound to suit everyone. Our easy dining options ensure you are completely satisfied. Order over the bar in the Lower Deck or take a seat in our upstairs dining area and be waited on hand and foot!

No bones about it, at James Squire Brewhouse we do have a bias towards beer! We are the only Brewhouse in Docklands that serves the entire range of James Squire Beer, and it doesn’t stop there. With our very own micro-brewery located in the top bar, you are guaranteed the freshest hand-crafted beers you’ll ever come across. We also carry an extensive range of local and imported beers should they be more to your taste.

If beer is not quite your thing our wine list covers a wide variety of popular wines, most of which are available by the glass. And not to forget the lovers of a great cocktail! Our bar staff are more than happy to whip you up a favourite.

When it comes to comfort and atmosphere, we’ve got it covered. On the ground level, there is plenty of choice in terms of seating options. Outside your thing? Enjoy alfresco dining or enjoy a cold pint with a group of friends. Inside you can choose from bar tables or or pull up a pew at the bar.

Upstairs is the Upper Deck Bar and restaurant. With uninterrupted views from the Bolte Bridge to the Telstra Dome and beyond, there is no better place to ake in the sparking vista of Victoria Harbour and the City. With a full A la Carte dining experience, lounges and high top tables as far as the eye can see, why not take a load off, relax a little and watch the world go by.

Love Sport? We have 6 plasma screens throughout the venue plus a massive drop down screen. You can be guaranteed that we will do our utmost to ensure you get to see your favourite sport with a range of sporting channels on Fox 1, 2 & 3 and Free to Air. Our sound system provides and endless stream of tunes and sporting commentary.
